Problem
As an end user I would like to gain root access to the permanent installation of BMDE station.
Usually this might be needed to install other third party software or security agents and such.
Resolution
BMDE is customized and super minimalistic distribution and it provides no root level access to its end user. The distribution only includes services which are absolutely required and it is fully designed to run only the BMDE application. The software is always booted up from secured ISO image which cannot be modified, even if modified the software will not boot anymore after losing its integrity. This being the case it is not possible for any kind of threat such as malware or spyware to gain access over the system.
Furthermore the boot or running process never executes anything from permanent storage so anything installed gets removed during reboot which makes any root label access is furthermore useless.
