Problem

After Erasing erasing a virtual machine with the Blancco Virtual Machine eraser (On Demand) software, The erased Virtual virtual machine name still exists on within vCenter on the ESXi Host and the erased virtual machine has an orphaned status.

Cause

Blancco Virtual Machine Eraser (On Demand) only communicates with the ESXi server and the virtual machine is removed from the ESXi host only.

Solution

Blancco Virtual Machine Eraser (On Demand) version doesn't communicate with the vCenter server from the ESXi host. Due to this reason , the erased virtual machine with an orphaned status in vCenter has to be removed manually.
