For the time being, Blancco Management Console doesn't support Java 9. Installation of Management Console and Management Console itself will not function properly when running with Java 9 JRE. This affects all released versions of Blancco Management Console.

Currently there is no workaround available for this and **Java 8 should not be updated to the Java 9 at all in Blancco Management Console environment**. Instead the latest version of Java 8 should be used.

The incompatibility is due to certain aspects of Java 8 which are no longer available in Java 9. Blancco is investigating the issue and the support for Java 9 will be added to the Management Console in the upcoming releases.
