File Eraser for Windows 8.2 - Release notes

- File Eraser 8.2 is Common Criteria certified.
  - Common criteria is the world most recognized certification.
- Product name changes.
  - Blancco File Eraser have previously had two different editions. PC and Server. PC Edition is now called Home Edition. Server Edition is now called Datacenter Edition.
  - A new edition is added called Enterprise Edition. Enterprise Edition is enabling enterprises to schedule and integrate file erasure on their laptops, workstations and servers.
- New erasure algorithm: NIST Clear.
  - Added support for NIST Clear erasure algorithm.
- Improved Windows 10 support.
  - Correct Windows version will be shown in the report and Windows identification has been improved.
- Disable reporting.
  - If needed, all reporting can be completely disabled with registry settings.
- Automatic update improvements.
  - Automatic update now works also for Blancco File Eraser with MC support.
- Fix for an issue where recycle bin erasure didn’t work as it should with Windows 10 Creators Edition.
