Network Device Eraser 2.0 - Release notes

  • Added NIST Purge support.
  • OS based device support.
    • For a full list of supported OS please see the user manual.
  • Added support for ASA devices.
  • Ability to bypass logins.
    • If a device is password locked, Blancco Network Device Eraser will initiate a password reset automatically.
  • Added rommon mode support for ASA devices.
    • Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) are now another OS line that is supported.

Bug fixes:

  • BNDE-273 - Added a not supported message for unsupported devices.
    • Previously these devices were stuck in Signing in stage.
