"Blancco 5" has been renamed to "Blancco Drive Eraser" to reflect all the architectural improvements that have been added in the 5.11 release as well as to provide consistent product names across the Blancco products offering.
"Blancco Drive Eraser" is fully compatible with the "Blancco 5" licenses.
Re-branded user interface.
The user interface has been re-branded with the colors of the Blancco Technology Group, including the new Blancco logo. To provide an improved user experience while unifying the looks and feels of all Blancco products.
Swiss-French keyboard layout support.
Blancco Drive Eraser provides support for the Swiss-French keyboard layout. To serve our Swiss and Luxembourgian customers.
Reporting the verification percentage.
The percentage of the drive that is verified is now reported in the XML report, under each verification step.

Fix for a problem where the hardware test for the keyboard did not work with the "-" key (US keyboard layout).
Fix for a problem where a drive partition dropdown was not reachable with the keyboard navigation.
Fix for a problem where the second process step was not started whenever the erasure was started (in Semi-automatic and Automatic processes).
Fix for few Japanese messages (no drive detected, hybrid drive detected).
Fix for a problem where the erasure speed was shown as "0.00 MB/s" in various languages.
Fix for a problem on the Blancco hardware appliances where some SAS SSDs with non-standard blocksizes where failing the verification.
Fix for a problem where the user interface showed occasionally an "unresponsive script" dialog. Occurred mainly on machines with low RAM.
Fix for a problem where the report backup was misleadingly turning the Report-tab green.
