Depending on the firmware commands supported by the drive, the Blancco SSD Erasure standard in Blancco Drive Eraser software is compliant with NIST Purge or Clear method (NIST ドライブでサポートされるファームウェアコマンドにより、Blancco SSD ErasureソフトウェアのBlancco SSD Erasure消去規格はNIST Purge、あるいはNIST Clearの消去方式に準拠しています （NIST SP 800-88 R1, Guidelines  Guidelines for Media Sanitization) Sanitization）:

•    On newer SSDs supporting the Sanitize commands (required to meet the NIST Purge-level erasure), “Blancco SSD Erasure” is fully compliant with the Purge-level erasure as defined by NIST. “Blancco SSD Erasure” exceeds the NIST Purge recommendations.

•    On older SSDs not supporting the Sanitize commands (but supporting older commands such as Secure Erase), “Blancco SSD Erasure” is fully compliant with the Clear-level erasure as defined by NIST and “Blancco SSD Erasure” exceeds the NIST Clear recommendations.

• NIST Purgeレベルの消去を満たすために必要なSanitizeコマンドをサポートする最近のSSDで、「Blancco SSD Erasure」はNISTが定義するPurgeレベルの消去に完全に準拠しています。「Blancco SSD Erasure」はNIST Purgeの推奨を上回っています。
