Windows PE環境であっても、手動コマンド入力または自動スクリプトでBlancco PreInstallを実行し、Blancco Drive EraserのISOを起動可能です。つまり、Blancco PreInstallがBlancco Drive Eraser ISOをローカルドライブへとインストールした後システムを再起動し、システムにBlancco Drive Eraserを読み込ませることができます。ここで、再起動ではなくシャットダウンだけ行うこともできます。その場合は、次の電源投入時にBlancco Drive Eraserが実行されます。
Blancco Preinstall WinPEプロセス:
1) 対象のマシンでWinPE OSを起動 (起動方法にはPXEやUSB、CD等の選択肢があります)
2) 「BlanccoPreinstall2.exe」を実行 (exeファイルの設置場所にはWinPE起動メディアやローカルドライブ、ネットワークドライブ等の選択肢があります) 。コマンドラインへの都度入力またはスクリプト化して実行します。実行時にはBlancco消去ソフトISOのパスを指定する必要があります。ISOの設置場所にはWinPE起動メディア内やローカルドライブ、ネットワークドライブなどの選択肢があります。
3) Blancco PreinstallがBlancco消去ソフトをローカルドライブにインストール。その後、コマンドに与えられたパラメータに応じて再起動やシャットダウンの動作も行います。
4) 次回起動時にコンピュータがローカルドライブを読み込み、Blancco Drive Eraserが起動 (Blancco Drive EraserはBlancco独自のOS上で動作)
5) Drive Eraserがドライブを検出し、Management ConsoleまたはBlancco Cloudに接続してライセンスを確認。そしてドライブを消去し、消去レポートをManagement Consoleに送信またはローカルUSBメモリに保存。なお、このステップでの動作はISOイメージファイルの設定次第で変わります。
以下にいくつか利用例を示します。前提として、BlanccoPreinstall2.exeと消去ソフトISOイメージファイルが共に「X:」ドライブ (WinPE ISOイメージまたはネットワークドライブなど) に保存されているとします。また、「--image」はISOイメージファイルのパスを設定するためのパラメータです。「--force」はPreinstall起動中の警告とポップアップメッセージを抑制し、「--reboot」はBlanccoのHDDへのインストールとPreinstall実行後のマシン再起動を行します。詳細はPreinstallユーザーマニュアルの10ページを参照してください。
Blancco PreInstallファイル (BlanccoPreinstall2.exeの32ビット版と64ビット版を両方含む)
a. 32ビットWinPE用: win32\BlanccoPreInstall2.exe
b. 64ビットWinPE用: x64\BlanccoPreInstall2.exe
例1. WinPE起動メディアとしてCDまたはUSBメモリを使用する。また、Blancco2Preinstall2.exeとBlancco ISOイメージファイルの保存用には別のUSBメモリを用意。
Blanccoを起動する手順:
1) BlanccoPreInstall2.exeとBlancco ISOイメージファイル (この例でのファイル名はBlancco.iso) をUSBメモリにコピーしておく。
2) WinPE起動メディアを使って起動。
3) WinPEがコマンドプロンプトを表示するまで待機。
4) USBメモリを接続。
5) 次のコマンドを実行「x:
Blancco PreInstall executable allows activating Blancco Drive Eraser software ISO in Windows PE environments, from command line either manually or by a script. Blancco PreInstall installs the Blancco Drive Eraser ISO on the local drive and reboots the system to Blancco Drive Eraser software. Alternatively the system can be shut down after activating Blancco PreInstall, and the Blancco Drive Eraser software will run on next boot.

Blancco PreInstall files (contains 32 and 64-bit BlanccoPreinstall2.exe files)
a. The win32\BlanccoPreInstall2.exe is for general use
b. The x64\BlanccoPreInstall2.exe is for 64bit WinPE.
Two use case examples below:
EXAMPLE 1. In this example we have WinPE media on a boot media (CD/USB), and Blancco2Preinstall2.exe and Blancco ISO image in the same folder on the boot drive or on another USB drive.
To boot Blancco in WinPE environment:
1) Copy BlanccoPreInstall2.exe and the Blancco ISO image file (Blancco.iso in this example) on a USB stick or on the WinPE boot media.
2) Boot from the WinPE media.
3) Wait for the WinPE to load into the command prompt.
4) Insert a media that holds the Blancco Preinstall software and the ISO.
5) Enter a command to install the software: (x:\BlanccoPreInstall2.exe --image="x:\Blancco.iso" --force --reboot).reboot」
6) The above command installs Blancco Drive Eraser on the hard drive and the computer reboots automatically.
7) The erasure software starts, if booted from the local HDD/SSD.
前ステップのコマンドによりBlancco Drive Eraserがローカルドライブにインストールされ、コンピュータが自動的に再起動します。
7) ローカルドライブ (HDDやSSD) が読み込まれ、Blancco消去ソフトが起動。
なお、Blancco PreInstallインストール用のコマンドをスクリプトにしてWinPEに組み込んでおくことも可能です。コマンドは次の形式になります。Blancco PreInstall can be also installed from the command prompt or using a script that is built into the WinPE image. The command should be as follows:

例2. この例では、Blancco PreInstallはWinPEイメージ内のルートフォルダに、Blancco ISOイメージファイルはネットワークドライブ X に保存してあるとします。ネットワークドライブをマウントするための「net」コマンドを実行した後に次のコマンドを実行すると、確認のポップアップメッセージ無しでステムが再起動し、Blanccoが起動します。EXAMPLE 2. In this example we execute Blancco PreInstall which is located in the root of WinPE image and define full path to a Blancco image that locates on the network drive X (network drive needs to be mapped separately via net map command) using /image parameter. We also define force parameter to skip all confirmation popups.
