On default settings, デフォルトの設定では、Blancco Drive Eraser is not configured to use any specific user credentials when consuming licenses from はBlancco Management Console/Blancco Cloud. Instead, user credentials are prompted from the user when the erasure is started. After user enters username and password, licenses will be consumed from the corresponding user.

For some scenarios this is not optimal process and there is a need to save the credentials to Drive Eraser ISO image to prevent users from entering them in the beginning of each erasure session.

This can be done by configuring the Blancco Drive Eraser ISO image with Configuration Tool.

からライセンスを消費するときに、特定のユーザー認証情報を使用するように構成されていません。代わりに、消去を開始するときに入力を求められ、正しいユーザー名とパスワードを入力した場合には対応するユーザーからライセンスが消費されます。 

用途によっては各消去セッションの開始時に認証情報を入力するのは効率が悪くなるため、Drive Eraser ISOイメージにあらかじめ保存しておくことができます。

具体的には、次の手順に従ってConfiguration Toolを使用し、Blancco Drive Eraser ISOイメージの設定を変更します。

1. Blancco Drive Eraser ISOイメージをConfiguration Toolにアップロードします。
2. 「通信」タブへ移動します。
3. Management Console/Blancco Cloudの通信の詳細情報を対応するフィールドに入力します。
   1. ホスト名/IP: Management Consoleサーバーのホスト名あるいはIPアドレス
      
      1. Blancco Cloudを使用する場合は、ホスト名はcloud.blancco.comを入力します。
   2. ポート: Management Consoleで使用される通信ポート
      1. Blancco Cloudを使用する場合は、443を入力します。
   3. ユーザー名とパスワード: Management Console/Blancco Cloudのユーザー認証情報を入力します。
4. 認証情報を入力した後、「更新」ボタンをクリックします。
5. 「名前を付けて保存」ボタンをクリックしてISOイメージを保存します。
6. 保存したISOイメージを使ってDrive Eraserを起動してください (例: 起動用USBメモリを再作成する、CDを再作成する、あるいはPXEブートサーバーの設定を変更して新しいISOイメージを読み込ませる) 。
7. Upload your Blancco Drive Eraser ISO image to the Configuration Tool
8. Navigate to "Communication"-tab
9. Enter Management Console / Blancco Cloud communication details in the fields accordingly
   1. Hostname / IP: the host name or IP address of your Management Console server
      
      1. If you are using Blancco Cloud host name needs to be cloud.blancco.com
   2. Port: communication port used with your Management Console
      1. if you are using Blancco Cloud port needs to be 443
   3. Username and password: enter your Management Console / Blancco Cloud user credentials
10. After entering the credentials, click "Update" button
11. Save the ISO image by clicking "Save as" button
12. Make sure the configured ISO is used when booting the software (e.g. recreate bootable USB-stick, burn CD or updated your PXE booting server to use the configured ISO image)
