Windowsの「以前のバージョン機能」は、復元ポイントまたはスナップショットから個々のファイルの復元を可能にします。この機能により機密ファイルが削除された場合でも再作成できるため、セキュリティ上のリスクとなる可能性があります。
Blancco File Eraserは、元のファイルとバックアップの両方を対象にして消去できます。
デフォルト設定では、Blancco File Eraserでファイルとフォルダあるいはごみ箱を消去する際、消去が完了する前に下記スクリーンショットのようなダイアログが表示されます。このダイアログは選択したファイルの以前のバージョンも消去したいかを確認します。なお、この操作はUser Access Controlの権限の昇格を要求します。
Windows Vista and Windows 7 both automatically save copies of your documents in case you accidentally erase one and need to quickly retrieve it. Blancco File Eraser can target and erase both the original copy as well as the backup.
