Problem
Due to changes in Samsung's firmware we've found certain devices are unable to report their internal serial number, as well as the correct storage capacity.
Currently affected models include Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, and Note 9 series devices. This could also extend in to newer models of Samsung devices if the firmware changes made by Samsung are consistent.
We've implemented a fix in Blancco Mobile Device Eraser v4.7 (tentatively set to release by the end of March 2021) to address the storage capacity detection issues.
Our development team is actively investigating alternative methods of retrieving the Serial numbers for the affected Samsung models.

Samsungのファームウェアの変更によって、特定のデバイスでは内部シリアル番号と正しいストレージ容量を通知できないことが確認されました。
現時点で影響を受けるモデルには、Galaxy S8、S9、Note 9シリーズのデバイスが含まれています。Samsung社が加えたファームウェアの変更内容が統一されていれば、Samsung製の新機種にも影響が及ぶ可能性があります。
ストレージ容量検出の問題に対処するために、Blancco Mobile Diagnostics and Erasure v4.7に修正を組み込みました。v4.7は2021年3月末までのリリースを予定しています。
