Drive Eraser 6.12.0以上はApple T2デバイスの起動と消去をサポートします。ただし、起動用のgrubブートファイルをあらかじめ手動で更新する必要があります。

Drive Eraser 6.12.0のgrubファイルを更新する手順は以下の通りです。

T2デバイスの起動と消去をサポートします。なお、バージョン6.12.0の場合はBlancco USB Creatorバージョン3.4.0を用いて起動用USBを作成する必要がありますのでご注意ください (このバージョンのUSB Creatorには新しいGrubブートファイルが含まれています) 。

Drive Eraser 6.12.0と新しいGrubファイルを使ってApple T2デバイス起動用USBメモリを作成する手順は以下の通りです。

1. 最新のBlancco USB Creatorツールを起動し、次のファイルをダウンロードし、「grub.efi」へとリネームしてください。

   最新のBlancco USB Creatorツールを使用して、Blancco Drive Eraser 6.12.0のISOイメージファイルだけをUSBメモリに書き込みます。
2. USBメモリの中にある「/efi/boot」ディレクトリに、ダウンロードしたgrub.efiファイルをコピーして上書きします。
3. You might have to prepare your Apple machine to boot from an external device. This is doable via the macOS Utilities (a macOS password might be needed to proceed), where you need to:
   1. Change Secure Boot to “No Security”.
   2. Change External Boot to “Allow booting from external media”.
4. Connect the USB stick to the machine as well as an external keyboard (needed to control BDE).
5. Boot the machine, select the Drive Eraser 6.12.0 image, then select the "Customized startup" booting option (do not add any additional booting parameter).
6. The BDE UI should show up and the internal drive should be ready for erasure.

1. 0のISOイメージファイルだけを読み込みます。
2. USB Creatorの「Use Bootfiles from ISO」オプションを無効にします。
3. 「Create」ボタンを押下し、USBメモリに書き込みます。
4. データ消去対象となるAppleマシンのmacOS起動セキュリティユーティリティを開き、外部デバイスからの起動ができるように設定を変更します (管理者アカウントのパスワードを要求される可能性があります)。
   1. 「安全な起動」の設定を 「セキュリティなし」に変更。
   2. 「外部起動」の設定を「外部メディアからの起動を許可」に変更。

      デバイスが工場出荷時状態に初期化されている場合、管理者アカウントでアクセスするにはアクティベーションを完了させておく必要があります。

5. USBメモリと外付けキーボードをAppleマシンに接続します。ここで、キーボードはBDEを操作するために必要です。
6. USBメモリから起動させ、起動オプション「Customized startup」を選択。この時、パラメータは何も追加しないでください。
7. 以上によりBDEの画面が現れ、内蔵ドライブが消去できる状態になります。
