Mobile Device Eraser 3.4.1 - Release notes

  • MDM / DEP Lock Detection.
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM) is detected and added to the report. Apple Device Enrollment Program Lock (DEP) is also detected and reported as part of MDM.
    • MDM lock means that after the erasure the phone is still locked to a management system and can not be freely used. We help customers automatically detect this in the process, as these devices might bring a lesser value.
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM) is only detectable if the device is activated and past the 'Location service' in activation process. Meaning need to select language & region, skip Wi-Fi and skip location service.
  • Web browser icon.
    • An icon for opening the web browser is added in the lower left menu.
    • If you don’t see the icon the web browser needs to be enabled in system settings, before you login.
  • Zoom and scroll in workflow editor.
    • The popular workflows are used in more and more complex combinations.
    • The need for more space have made us create a zoom and scroll function so larger workflow easier can be worked with.
  • Recipero certid.
    • When using Recipero integration the certid of the information is added to the report. That makes further integration with Recipero possible from an asset management system.
  • Import / export setting.
    • Settings for diagnostics test sets can now be exported and imported between different clients.
  • Fixes for iOS 11 issues.
    • Different issues in the iOS device erasure have been taken care of, including issues with erasures hanging at 80%.
