    • Blancco authorized personnel can attach to the customer system and give better support.
    • VNC settings are always visible in System Settings | Admin Control | Other settings.

    • BMDE machine can be Auto shutdown after certain idle time.
  • PHEN-11099 - Add guidance to iOS firmware export and import and button in popup to safely remove USB disk.
  • PHEN-11837 - Custom fields using dropdown lists with multi-selection.
    • Multi selection dropdown support added to Question blob.
    • Allows user to select, unselect items from dropdown list to device custom field.

  • PHEN-12038 - Improvements to make Android initialization faster.
  • PHEN-12179 - Show Alert and Force Upgrade in iOS 11 device to iOS 12.
    • Users will be shown an alert on BMDE and can choose to update iOS/iPadOs 11 to latest version prior to Diagnostics.
  • Diagnostics Maintenance:
    • For Apple devices the Provisioning Profile dates in Diag app ver 4.13 with Expiration Date: 19 March, 2025.
    • Diagnostics app support for Apple will be for iOS version 12 and above.
  • SD-6060 - Diagnostics test for iOS Battery Drain Test has been improved.
    • This test will start automatically in expert mode and manual in training mode setting selected in BMDE.
  • SD-6149 - iOS Screen Test improvements.
    • Remove the bottom bar, top airplane mode image, time to check "screen burn" (for iPhones only).
  • SD-6137 - Android Speaker-Mic test improvements.
    • The duration of the frequency played by the Speaker microphone test is reduced to minimize users hearing discomfort. 
  • SD-6157 - Android Camera tests improvements for Samsung Fold devices. Added tests for second front camera when the phone is in Unfolded state. They are

    • Front Video Customized (Unfolded) 
  • SD-3850 - iOS Wireless Charging + Fast Charging Test.
    • Battery Charging test for Apple devices would work well for Wireless charging too.

Comments:

  • Support for new iPad Air/Pro (2024) is added in this release.
  • Android FR (No verification) is now ready in few seconds.
  • After express setup Android devices hold Diagnostics installation as 'Google play protect' detects app as "Unsafe app". Here User is required to select option "Install anyway" to continue the installation.

Known Issues:

  • Question answer is not updated to host report if question is rerun in Diagnostics flow. 
  • Diagnostics Install & launch takes fail path if there's network connectivity issues.
  • Right after express setup there was detected Diagnostics app crashes with Redmi (Auto profile) and Samsung S9 devices (Common diagnostics flow). Diagnostics could be run successfully after restart. 
  • Non-genuine battery popup warning might not appear on BMDE UI for Apple devices.
  • Auto start Factory Reset flow for 'Not trusted' iOS device fails and flow needs to be manually restarted after 'Trust' is given.

  • PHEN-12165 - Not enough license to start diagnostics error after updating to 5.3.
  • PHEN-11386 - iPhone 14 Plus Diag skipped due to Setup with launch failed.
  • PHEN-12181 - 100% CPU -usage when plugging 40-50 phone.
  • PHEN-11770 - Bandwidth Scalability & Automatic Wi-Fi time-out too fast.
  • PHEN-12173 - Knox erasure fails on SM-T505.
  • PHEN-12234 - eSIM not erased: Samsung GS23 Ultra (SM-S918U).
  • PHEN-12239, PHEN-12327 - All Samsung SM-X210 Galaxy Tab A9+ showing 71% Battery Health.
  • PHEN-12247 - BMDE password not required if disconnected from Sync Server.
