Blancco Management Console only has limited support with MySQL database. For the time being, only MySQL 5.7.x will be supported with Management Console and any newer versions of MySQL are no longer supported.
Official support for MySQL database will be completely dropped in a near future. For that reason, Blancco doesn't recommend MySQL for any new installations. The aim is to focus more on the performance and stability of the remaining supported production grade RDBMSs: Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
