LUN Eraser (for UNIX) version 2.4 - Release notes

Features:

  • System Information reporting on Mac.
    • Includes system serial, manufacturer, model and others.
  • CPU information reporting on Mac.
    • Includes model, vendor, cores, frequency and others.
  • Battery information reporting on Mac.
    • Includes design capacity, current capacity, model, serial and others. 
  • Erasure process on macOS now supports a regular USB installation.
    • The requirement for an external USB drive is reduced to a regular USB stick.

Bug fixes:

  • LEE-1936 - Disk id information cannot be retrieved in macOS Recovery mode.
    • Warning: although erasure should now be possible through recovery mode this is still an experimental feature until further notice.
