Preinstall 2.8.0 - Release notes

Features:

  • Asset Report creation option.
    • A full asset report can be created utilizing Asset Profiler licenses from Preinstall.
  • Support for Windows updates.
    • Windows updates in between Preinstall executions will not remove the boot entry.

Fixes:

  • Boot issues on certain Windows 10 builds.
    • Fixed a rare but recurring issue on certain builds of Windows 10 that were preventing booting.
  • LEE-2434 - Network settings not written into image.
    • Fixed an issue where the network settings from the registry are not saved into the ISO.
