On the Device Diagnostics Center page there is a question mark symbol next to "Test result viewer tab". Click on the question mark symbol and the Build version displayed is the software version.
NOTE: Device Diagnostics Centre page automatically comes up after port mapping done is done successfully for locked down user (xcaliber) .
