The complete evaluation process consists of three parts which have their own "minimum system requirements":

  1. Creating the bootable USB stick:
    • Windows based operating system (Windows XP or newer)
    • USB port
    • USB stick
    • Internet connection (required for consuming the evaluation "license")
  2. Erasing a system with Blancco Drive Eraser:
    • x86 architecture machine
    • 768 MB RAM memory (preferably 1 GB RAM)
    • SVGA display and VESA compatible video card for graphical user interface
    • USB port (ability to boot from USB)
  3. Unlocking the erasure report (optional):
    • Any computer with an Internet browser
    • USB port
    • Internet connection
