Therefore the tablet cannot be erased with the "Blancco SSD Erasure" standard.

  • We have investigated this issue extensively to no avail. The problem lies on the tablet itself and cannot be worked around.

  • Nevertheless, any standard that simply overwrites the SSD (e.g. “Aperiodic Random Overwrite”, HMG & DoD standards) will work on this device.

  • Erasing this tablet with e.g. “Aperiodic Random Overwrite” standard (or HMG or DoD) and setting a 100% verification will exceed the NIST recommendations to achieve a "clear-level" security (preventing keyboard-level attacks i.e. attempts to retrieve information using a data recovery software).

• Microsoft Surface Pro 4 はサポートされます（Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is supported (since Blancco Drive Eraser 6.1.0). 以降）。Blancco Drive Eraser can boot, unlock and erase this tablet with the "Blancco SSD Erasure" standard. These models require High-End Licenses (due to the NVMe drives), unless using version 6.4 or newer of Blancco Drive Eraser which has removed the need for High-End licenses.

Regarding x86 tablets, note the following:
