Blancco Drive Eraserのカスタムデバッグブートモードの使用方法に関する詳細手順を説明します。この方法は、起動に問題がある場合に、少し高度なトラブルシューティング手順として利用できます。

Blancco Drive Eraser消去ソフトウェアがフリーズあるいはクラッシュした場合、ソフトウェアは自動的にクラッシュレポートの生成を試みます。ソフトウェアのクラッシュが発生したときにUSBメモリが接続されていれば、クラッシュレポートはUSBメモリにコピーされます。クラッシュレポートは検出されたすべてのUSBメモリにコピーされます。USBメモリが、クラッシュの発生したコンピューターに後から接続された場合でも、レポートは自動的にUSBメモリにコピーされます。

USBメモリを使用して起動する場合

1.    最新バージョンのBlancco USB Creatorを使用して起動用のUSBメモリを作成していることを確認します。
2.    USBメモリを使用してコンピューターを起動します。
3.    最初のBlanccoのUSB起動メニュー画面で、Blancco Drive Eraserの.isoイメージを選択します。
4.    画面には異なる起動モードが表示されます（FLR at startup、Safe resolutionなど）。
5.    「Show startup messages」モードを選択して強調表示にします。
6.    「e」を押して編集モードにします。
7.    矢印キーを使用して、次の文字列の行にカーソルを移動します: 「linux

Below you can find detailed instructions on how to use custom debug boot mode in Blancco Drive Eraser. This method can be used as a bit more advanced troubleshooting step if the are issues with boot up.

If Blancco Drive Eraser erasure software freezes or crashes, the software will try to generate a crash report automatically. If there is a USB stick plugged in when the software crash happens, a crash report will be copied on the USB stick. The crash report will be copied on all detected USB sticks. If a USB stick is connected later to a computer, where the crash has occurred, the report is automatically copied on the USB stick.

When booting from USB
1.    Make sure that you have created your bootable USB stick using the latest Blancco USB Creator version.
2.    Boot the computer from the USB stick.
3.    In the first Blancco USB boot menu screen, select the Blancco Drive Eraser .iso image.
4.    Screen should display the different boot modes (FLR at startup, Safe resolution, etc.) .
5.    Highlight the “Show startup messages” mode.
6.    Press “e” to edit the mode.
7.    With arrow keys, move the cursor down on the line with the following string: “linux /isolinux/vmlinuz isofile=$isofile”$isofile」
8.    「$ isofile」の後にカーソルを移動し、次の例ようにブートパラメーターを設定します 。

　（例）  Move the cursor after the “$isofile” and set the boot parameters as follows (example) : vmalloc=256M debug verbose nomodeset cr

9.    Press Ctrl + “X” or F10 to continue booting. 「Ctrl + X」またはF10キーを押して起動を再開します。
10.    If there are any issues with the booting or erasing, please create a new support ticket and include following files from the USB stick to the ticket: ‘debug 起動または消去に問題がある場合には、新しくサポートチケットを作成してお問い合わせください。サポートチケットにはUSBメモリ内の次のファイルを添付してください: 「debug_info.tar.gz’ and xml file(s) named as: "YYYYMMDDgz」および「YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_issue_report.ir.xml".
When booting from xml」という名前のxmlファイル。

CD/PXE/MSI:MSIを使用して起動する場合

1.    Boot the computer to Blancco (from CD CD/PXE/MSI).MSIを使用してBlanccoを起動します。
2.    When the red Blancco screen appears, press up or down arrow key. Blanccoの画面が表示されたら、上矢印あるいは下矢印キーを押下します。
3.    Select “Show startup messages” (but do not press the Enter key). 「Show startup messages」を選択します 。Enterキーは押さないでください。
4.    Press “Tab” to display the startup options. 「Tab」キーを押下してスタートアップオプションを表示します。
5.    With arrow keys, move the cursor left and set the boot parameters as follows (example):  矢印キーを使用して、カーソルを左に移動し、ブートパラメーターを次のように設定します 。

　（例）：vmlinuz vmlinuz vmalloc = 256M debug verbose nomodeset cr initrd = initrd2,initrd

6.    Press Enter to continue booting.    Enterキーを押して起動を再開します。
7.    If there are any issues with the booting or erasing, have a FAT32-formatted USB stick plugged into the computer and create a new support ticket and include following files from the USB stick to the ticket: ‘debug 起動または消去に問題がある場合には、コンピューターにFAT32でフォーマットしたUSBメモリを接続し、新しくサポートチケットを作成してお問い合わせください。チケットにはUSBメモリ内の次のファイルを添付してください:「debug_info.tar.gz’ and xml file(s) named as: "YYYYMMDDgz’」および「YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_issue_report.ir.xml".xml」という名前のxmlファイル。

The Blancco Drive Eraser Configuration Tool also provides options to add custom booting parameters within the Blancco Drive Eraser image (via a booting option called “Customized startup”).
