Problem
Certain Android mobile devices with an operating system versions of 4.1.2 - 4.2.2 may fail to get fully erased by Blancco Mobile Device Eraser, such as Motorola XT912 and Motorola XT875. These Motorola XT series devices using the 4.1.2 - 4.2.2 version operating system are currently "blacklisted" and cannot be erased with Blancco Mobile Device Eraser.
Cause
The operating system version (earlier than 4.2.4) that these Motorola mobile devices use, causes the problem, where the whole internal user-accessible storage memory is not always fully "mounted" when the device is booted. This means that Blancco Mobile Device Eraser is not capable of always seeing the full erasable storage area and therefore not able to erase the device properly.
Resolution
Updating the operating system to version 4.2.4 should fix the issue.
