Mobile Diagnostics and Erasure version 4.8.1 - Release Notes

Features:

  • PHEN-7135 - Android Device Cards/Icons disappear after erasure.
  • PHEN-7221 - BMDE screen goes black after printing and USB disconnect.
  • PHEN-7213 - iOS activation fails for unknown reason.
  • PHEN-6480 - New version failed to copy - update to 4.6.1 failed.
  • PHEN-7166 - Unable to process Poco X2 device
  • PHEN-7290 - Add option to wait for welcome screen after iOS erase.
    • This is a new option in the iOS erasure options settings which can speed up device initialization in some cases.
    • More details will be added to the next BMDE manual update with the release of 4.9.

Important Information and Known Issues

  • Device cards are more sticky. Once device process is ready, either use 'x' button to remove a device card from UI or use dismiss option via Execute button to remove multiple device cards at once.

  • In Slot view, if device card for processed device is not removed from UI and a new device is connected to same USB slot, focus of the device is not working - device must be reconnected.
  • In workflow avoid using iOS activation and iOS setup modules in a row.
  • Client status on status panel is shown connected if Synchronize firmwares is enabled in sync settings else fail status can be seen.
